There are several flowers spread across the route in different areas. Various patches of grass can be found with three of them at the entrance of the route. There are several ledges blocking the path at different parts of the route, and a trainer has to travel the route in an 'S' pattern. Route 1 is a route surrounded by trees on all sides and leads to Viridian City.
